painted in rose camaieu, the cup finely decorated with a straw hat and pipe in tree branches, insects and bow around the handle, the saucer with a rustic scene on a river bank, interlaced Ls monogram enclosing dot marks to undersides, cup incised ‘4’, saucer incised ‘CPUO’ (2)
