Sèvres Porcelain Teapot and Cover (Théière Calabre)

c. 1763

of ovoid form with ear shaped handle of 3rd size, decorated with oval panels of garlands of colourful flowers hanging from a ribbon bow reserved against a turquoise petit vert ground and further embellished with finely tooled gilt bands and floral sprays surrounds, the cover surmounted by a floral finial, interlaced Ls monogram mark enclosing date letter K and painter’s mark for Guillaume Noël
