Provenance:
This version of the Rondo chair was designed by Gordon Andrews and Marion Hall Best in 1969 for the interiors of the Hyatt Kingsgate Hotel. Marion used the seating shell from Gordon Andrews, to which she fitted a trumpet shaped aluminium base. 200 of these chairs were specially made for the Kingsgate project, with matching footstools.
