plain bodied oval section with two moulded bands engraved with Vitruvian decoration and having lightly domed hinged lid with matching decorationand button finial, swan neck spout and silver flat topped looped handle with insulators and having wreath cartouches either side with one engraved ‘M’ and the other vacant, bearing marks for Francis Howden, Edinburgh 1802
